Description
The Department of Indiana State Police is the law enforcement agency for the State of Indiana. The Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division is responsible for enforcing both state and federal regulations (FMCSR's) on all commercial motor vehicles, conducting safety inspections, compliance reviews to ensure compliance with equipment and hours–of–service regulations, and tasked with enforcing Indiana's size and weight laws and ensure that commercial carriers are properly registered and paying their fair share of fuel tax dollars.
