ODOT Interstate Wrong-Way Sensor-Activated Signage
Description
Sensor–activated light–up signs were installed on I–71 ramps from Mason–Montgomery Rd. to the Lytle Tunnel to help prevent crashes caused by wrong–way drivers. Local police are alerted once a driver passes the sensors placed on the light–up signs. A second set of signs with sensors was also installed to alert ODOT's TMC to dispatch additional emergency response vehicles.
