Description
––Instance of CVO05–– This service package provides parking information to commercial vehicle operators both pre–trip and en route. The parking information will be based on information collected from each truck parking area using individual sensors in each space, or in/out sensors for the area. The raw data is processed by state DOT or third party providers and supplied to fleet managers, to mobile devices used by commercial vehicle operators, to DMS on the roadway or directly to in vehicle systems as commercial vehicles approach roadway exits with key facilities such as parking. This service package also provides the ability for the commercial vehicle driver, or fleet manager to request a parking reservation.
